OVERVIEW

In line with the mission of ¿ªÔªÕæÈËas a leading learner-centered and research university; and with the stature of the College of Liberal Arts as a center of excellence for teaching and research in the humanities and the social sciences, the Department of Sociology and Behavioral Sciences (DSBS) promotes academic excellence, quality research and scholarship, individual integrity, collegiality and social responsibility. Overall, DSBS’ work is geared towards a sustainable Earth and is carried out in the service of church and society, including the poor and the marginalized.

The Department of Sociology and Behavioral Sciences aims to produce professionals who are able to critically comprehend, integrate, and apply the perspectives and skills of Sociology, Anthropology and Health Social Science in the development of human resources and in the management of change in organizations, communities and institutions.
