聽Dr. Melissa Lopez Reyes, PhD, RPsy has done research in youth development and poverty, cross-country comparisons of social-psychological indices, tests and measurement, process and outcome evaluation, career development, and learning and cognition. She is a recipient of the T.A. Bancroft Statistics Award of the Department of Statistics and Statistical Laboratory of Iowa State University, the Balik (Returning) Scientist Program Award of the Department of Science and Technology, the Outstanding Scientific Paper Award of the National Academy of Science and Technology, and the Michael Driver Best Applied Research Paper Finalist Award (co-authored) of the U.S. Academy of Management. Dr. Reyes has conducted program evaluation of the National Prosecution Office Pilot Mediation Program for the Philippine Department of Justice Office for Alternative Dispute Resolustion; research in positive youth development among high school students in the Cambodian plane area and its vicinities for the Royal University of Phnom Penh Department of Psychology; and development and validation of the Multicontext Assessment Battery of Youth Development for De La Salle University. She obtained a Ph.D. in Psychology and Statistics from Iowa State University, U.S.A. and an M.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Mathematics (magna cum laude ) from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
