WELCOME TO THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGY
The Biology Department undertakes teaching and research in a wide range of biological disciplines. Recognized consistently as a聽Center of Excellence聽by the Commission of Higher Education (CHED), the Department has highly competent teachers committed to training students and producing quality research.
It has well-equipped science and research laboratories which are located on the sixth floor of St. Joseph Building and at the second and fourth floors of the Science and Technology Research Center (STRC) of the Manila Campus as well as on the 2nd Floor East Wing of Milagros R. del Rosario (MRR) Building of the Laguna Campus.
Some of its areas of research are botany, entomology, medical microbiology, molecular biology, cytogenetics, developmental biology, marine science, and environmental science.
