Announcement and Call for Papers
The conference serves as a platform for presenting new and emerging technologies in the various areas of mechanical and aerospace engineering and how such technologies are utilized in the industry and appropriated to the community to create high socio – economic impact. The conference aims to demonstrate how the synergy of the three pillars of the academe – instruction, research and extension service, could serve as the key in the dissemination, generation, preservation and application of wealth of knowledge to solve current problems of the society and to meet the demands of the future.
Scope of Conference
Contributions in the following areas are welcome
- Fluid Dynamics and Thermal Engineering (Experimental Fluid Dynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Computational heat and mass transfer, combustion engines
- Energy Systems (New and renewable energy, alternative fuels, geothermal, solar power, wind power)
- Mechanical Systems (Mechanical design, production and manufacturing, dynamics, reverse engineering, MEMS, Mechatronics, Automation, Bio – mechanics
- Structure and Materials (Light Structure Analysis and Design, Structure Design Optimization, FEM, BEM, Metallurgy, composites, smart materials)
- Flight Physics (Flight Mechanics and control, Aerodynamics, Propulsion, Simulation, Astrodynamics and Satellite Control, Rockets, Aerospace Systems
- ´¡±¹¾±²¹³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô²õÌý(Aircraft Design, Aircraft Operations, Aircraft Maintenance, Air Transport management and policy
- Mechanical Engineering Education
Types of Contributions
The conference will feature both oral and poster presentations. There will also be plenary presentations on selected topics from invited speakers.

Notification of abstract acceptance                               November 30, 2010
Submission of full papers                                               December 15, 2010
Announcement of conference program                            February 15, 2011
Abstract Submission Procedure
Interested authors are requested to submit extended abstracts in MS Word format to ([email protected]). Submissions should include the following information:
- Title of paper
- Authors affiliation and contact details (e-mail address, postal address and telephone  number)
- A body of 300 – 500 words
- 3 – 6 key words
- Type of presentation (oral or poster)

Regular Fee     –          USD 250
Students Fee   –          USD 150
Philippine – Based Participants:     Â
Regular Fee     –          Php 4,500
Students Fee   –          Php 1000 (conference materials and kit only)
Note: Registration fee is waived for all AUN/SEED–Net related participants as stated in the guidelines. Also, two or three selected papers from the 3rd RC-MEAE will be invited to submit full length, journal-quality paper for review. If accepted, it will be published in ASEAN Engineering Journal supported by JICA Project for AUN/SEED-Net ()
