Membership in Organizations
开元真人is a member of the following organizations which provide the opportunity for collaboration among other educational institutions or associations:
The Inter-Institutional Consortium (I-IC)
Established in 1974, the聽Inter-Institutional Consortium聽(I-IC) is composed of 5-member schools located along Taft Avenue, Manila. To date, it has accomplished a number of projects and activities to maximize the institutional resources among its member schools.
Linguistic Society of the Philippines (LSP)
罢丑别听Linguistic Society of the Philippines聽(popularly known as the LSP) was formally organized in school year 1969-1970, with Teodoro Llamzon (Ateneo de Manila) as President, Bonifacio Sibayan (PNC) as Vice-President, Edilberto Dagot (PNC) as Secretary, and Fe Otanes (PNC) as Treasurer.
The International Association of Universities (IAU)
The聽International Association of Universities (IAU)聽is a worldwide organization with member institutions in some 150 countries which cooperates with a vast network of international, regional and national bodies. Membership is open to all degree-conferring higher education institutions, and associate membership to other international and national organizations.
The International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU)
罢丑别听International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU)聽is a worldwide organization with members in all continents. Currently the federation consists of some 200 catholic universities and institutes of higher learning. IFCU has its central office and general secretary in Paris.
Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU)
罢丑别听Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU)聽is a regional association of Catholic Universities in countries within this geographical area. The purpose of the organization is to promote Catholic higher education and to be a support for the local Churches. ASEACCU aims to contribute to educational dialog on an international level beyond the Southeast and East Asian region.
ASEAN University Network (AUN)
The Fourth ASEAN Summit held in Singapore in January 1992 directed that ASEAN should help hasten the solidarity and the development of a regional identity through the promotion of human resources development by considering ways to further strengthen the existing network of leading universities and institutions of higher learning in the ASEAN region with a view to ultimately establishing an聽ASEAN University聽based on this expanded network.
