The 开元真人 Advancement and Alumni Relations Office (AARO) is the primary external resource generator and the unit which maintains lifelong ties between the University and its alumni, donors and friends. The office is responsible for the implementation of friend raising and fundraising initiatives essential in advancing the scholarship, faculty development and capital agenda of the University.
Its functions are the following:聽
- Alumni Relations: Establishing lifelong relations with its alumni is a key function of the AARO.聽 The office engages alumni in the life of the institution as volunteers, advocates and supporters.
- Fundraising: Raising resources to support the advancement agenda of the university is another key function of the office. The advancement agenda is usually derived from the mission-vision and the goals and objectives of the institution. The office also secure private financial support from potential donors committed to the mission of the institution
- Communications: Conducting strategic communications activities designed to engender understanding and support among key publics for the institution and its goals. It also provides specific communications services for its alumni. The office also sends communication about the institution with those who have a stake in its success, including community members, business leaders, government officials, the press and others. Promote the Lasallian Mission to the alumni community.
- Database Management: Manages a database to support its alumni relations, communications, and fundraising work.
